Being Citybroke is about perspective. It’s about seeing glitter in the gutter and a sense of humor when life is giving you everything you don’t exactly want and you’re hanging on for a dream that you sometimes can’t remember.
It’s not sales or survival - it’s an electronic letter from the trenches. It’s what suits who make $60K in at age 24 can’t even imagine. It’s Freedom. It’s Poverty. It’s Broken. It’s Beautiful.

Going Bananas at Banana

I don't always love outlets malls, in fact I hate them. But recently I went to the Banana Republic factory store in Orlando (worst city ever) and it is REALLY GOOD. And then I realized I like Banana factory stores all over the country. The beautiful thing about Banana is their designs don't go out of style too quickly, and the quality is good for the price. With the 50, 60 and 70 % discounts at the already marked-down factory stores - what's there to not love! For a Banana factory story near you head to Woodbury Common in Central Valley, NY, which means leaving your dear island behind by renting a car, taking Metro North, or, according to Woodbury Common, chartering a helicopter.
