Being Citybroke is about perspective. It’s about seeing glitter in the gutter and a sense of humor when life is giving you everything you don’t exactly want and you’re hanging on for a dream that you sometimes can’t remember.
It’s not sales or survival - it’s an electronic letter from the trenches. It’s what suits who make $60K in at age 24 can’t even imagine. It’s Freedom. It’s Poverty. It’s Broken. It’s Beautiful.

The Buffalo Exchange in Williamsburg is a National Treasure

Last time I was there, I got a black cashmere JCrew shift-dress brand new for 20 bucks (it said sample in chalk on the inside.) I also got a new Uniqlo pinstripe oxford shirt for 12 bucks. Find a new batch of great vintage, gently used and new accessories and clothing each week.
This is one of the few great shopping destinations not overrun by tourists. Celebrate being a native (immigrant) and head over after brunch this weekend.
Check it out online.
