Being Citybroke is about perspective. It’s about seeing glitter in the gutter and a sense of humor when life is giving you everything you don’t exactly want and you’re hanging on for a dream that you sometimes can’t remember.
It’s not sales or survival - it’s an electronic letter from the trenches. It’s what suits who make $60K in at age 24 can’t even imagine. It’s Freedom. It’s Poverty. It’s Broken. It’s Beautiful.

5 Reasons I did not Enjoy being home Sick today.

1. I felt really gross with a pounding headache and awful cough.
2. I hate daytime TV and couldn't drag myself outside to rent a DVD.
3. I ordered Thai for lunch. My sickness clouded my judgement and I ended up spending $18 on average Tom Yum and garlic chicken when normally I would have asked about their delicious lunch specials I learned about on the flyer in the bag.
4. I didn't do anything fun. I'm like Cameron from Ferris Bueler's day off.
5. I missed a happy hour and a Rolling Stones party. Tear, tear.
