Being Citybroke is about perspective. It’s about seeing glitter in the gutter and a sense of humor when life is giving you everything you don’t exactly want and you’re hanging on for a dream that you sometimes can’t remember.
It’s not sales or survival - it’s an electronic letter from the trenches. It’s what suits who make $60K in at age 24 can’t even imagine. It’s Freedom. It’s Poverty. It’s Broken. It’s Beautiful.

Big Race on Sunday

And we are ready to SIT & WATCH. And drink.
I recommend starting near the beginning of the parade in Brooklyn. All the runners are still going to be amped about the miles ahead of them. Hi -5's are going to be flying. Laugh at their exhaustion (not many NYC runners dress up - the LA marathon is another story) and nurse your buzz. Sunday funday doesn't stop until the sun goes down.
Learn more about the race or fake like you were in it.
