Being Citybroke is about perspective. It’s about seeing glitter in the gutter and a sense of humor when life is giving you everything you don’t exactly want and you’re hanging on for a dream that you sometimes can’t remember.
It’s not sales or survival - it’s an electronic letter from the trenches. It’s what suits who make $60K in at age 24 can’t even imagine. It’s Freedom. It’s Poverty. It’s Broken. It’s Beautiful.

Save Money by Furiously Ranting about how you Hate all Airlines

That’s right. I had a terrible experience with United Airlines a few weeks ago flying from the Big Apple to the corn fields of Iowa. Let’s face it. Flying out of LGA, JFK and Newark involves D-E-L-A-Y-S.

But, one very helpful United Customer Service agent (they do exist!) told me not to complain in person, but via email because then it's documented in the system. I did – and it was turned out to be a mentally and financially satisfying experience. They ended up giving me a $175 voucher.

To file complaints against airlines and get free stuff:
(Make sure to have all your flight info. to make it valid.)

United
Delta
NWA

American

And more people on our team:
USAToday: I Hate Southwest
IHateAmericanAirlines.com
PM's World: I Hate Airlines

An Irishman's Diary: Why I Hate Airports and Airlines

Do you have any tips on manipulating airline reps to get free stuff? let us know at citybroke@gmail.com
